Local Startups a major boost for Bahrain’s startup ecosystem, stc Bahrain has officially launched the 2025 edition of its InspireU accelerator program. The initiative invites local entrepreneurs and early-stage startups to apply for a chance to accelerate their growth through expert mentorship, funding support, and access to global business networks.

This is the second year that InspireU is being hosted in Bahrain, following the successful rollout of the program in 2024. Originally launched by stc Group in Saudi Arabia in 2015, InspireU has since expanded across the region, including to Kuwait and now Bahrain. The first edition of InspireU Bahrain in 2024 ended with a competitive bootcamp session held at stc Bahrain headquarters. Three startups were selected based on their innovative solutions and growth potential. These included:

  • Rizq: A fintech company offering a smart financial management platform for B2B businesses.
  • Siin: A revolutionary live shopping app that bridges e-commerce with interactive video experiences.
  • Verrt: A media and ad-tech startup that introduced a new model for transparent media booking and advertising performance.

These startups were provided with expert-led mentoring sessions, strategic business support, funding, and access to local and international networking events. They also received specialized training from business experts in Silicon Valley—one of the world’s most renowned hubs for innovation.

Eligible startups must be registered in Bahrain or plan to establish operations in the Kingdom. The program encourages applications from both individual entrepreneurs and startup teams, especially those that are tackling real-world problems with disruptive, market-ready solutions.

The program has created more than 660,000 job opportunities and reached over 50 million users globally through its alumni startups. Its total investment across the Middle East exceeds 1 billion Saudi Riyals.
