The trek is part of a larger, five-month expedition split into four stages, lasting over two winter seasons to avoid the country’s scorching summer heat and coincide with the month of Ramadan. The journey will continue in October 2025, with the second stage leading Morrison toward the Yemeni border, near Najran, by December 2025.
