Ayah AlHaman :A Childhood Struggle That Sparked a Lifelong Mission
As a child, Ayah AlHaman often heard conversations about body weight and body image from her aunts. At first, she paid little attention, but as she entered her teenage years, those words became personal. She found herself subjected to body shaming, despite neither being overweight nor particularly fit. This experience left a lasting impact on her, making her fearful of gaining weight and constantly comparing herself to her fit friends. Little did she know that these struggles would shape her future and ignite her passion for health and wellness.
Finding Her Purpose in the Wellness Industry
Ayah’s natural ability to connect with people and motivate them led her to pursue a career in nutrition and wellness. She recognized the growing global issue of obesity and felt a strong desire to be part of the solution. Her mission became clear: to help millions improve their health, reduce disease risks, and ultimately, increase their chances of living longer and healthier lives. Her emotional intelligence and deep understanding of human behavior gave her an edge in the industry, allowing her to not only educate but also inspire change.
Academic Excellence and Professional Milestones
Determined to succeed, Ayah worked hard in her studies, graduating as the top-ranked student in her university section. Her dedication and passion led her from Jordan to Qatar, where she joined a wellness center. There, she transformed the lives of over 50 clients, guiding them toward their health and body goals. This achievement holds great significance for her, as it represents the direct impact she has on improving people’s lives.
Overcoming Challenges and Finding Her True Calling

Ayah’s journey was far from smooth. Leaving her home country to chase her dream job was a bold move, but when she arrived, reality did not match her expectations. She faced extreme stress and disappointment, feeling as though she had been misled about the opportunity. The thought of returning home crossed her mind, but just when she was about to give up, she received a life-changing phone call.
A new wellness center recognized her talent and offered her a position as a dietitian. Within two weeks, she was promoted to general manager of a restaurant owned by the same company. This role was a testament to her hard work, resilience, and leadership qualities. Being the youngest employee in a leadership role filled her with gratitude and pride, proving that perseverance always pays off.
Current Work and Long-Term Aspirations
Today, Ayah is a clinical, sports, and psychological dietitian at a wellness center, as well as the general manager of a healthy restaurant. This position perfectly aligns with her long-term goal of launching her own wellness business. By gaining valuable experience, expanding her knowledge, and building strong industry connections, she is laying the foundation for a future where she can integrate nutrition, exercise, mental well-being, and education into a holistic health approach.
Lessons Learned and Their Impact on Her Work
One of the most valuable lessons Ayah has learned is that the human mind is capable of achieving anything it truly believes in. If there is a will, there is always a way. This mindset has shaped her approach to work, making her consultations more than just nutritional guidance. She begins by working on her clients’ mindsets, knowing that once they believe in themselves, achieving their health goals becomes much easier.
“Ayah was mislead by multiple trainers in her early exercise years, making her follow incorrect paths and fad diets as well as extreme training programs that made her lose her hormonal health as a teenager, so she decided to study the science of exercise herself and by that she became a personal trainer as well so she can always advice people of what is right and was is wrong.”
Leaving a Legacy in the Health Industry
Ayah’s vision extends beyond individual client success. She wants people to understand that they are in control of their health. “You are what you eat, and what you are not changing, you are choosing,” she emphasizes. Her goal is to teach people balance and sustainable habits, ensuring they live healthier and happier lives. Through her work, she hopes to create a lasting impact that helps reshape society’s approach to nutrition and self-care.
Advice to Her Younger Self
If she could go back in time, Ayah would tell her younger self, “Keep going, you’re on the right path. You will reach your goals—just focus on yourself like you already are. Be softer with yourself because you deserve all the good things coming your way. I love you, Ayousha!”

Ayah AlHaman’s story is one of resilience, passion, and transformation. From battling body image issues as a teenager to becoming a leader in the wellness industry, she proves that struggles can fuel success.
